Exciting news and tall buildings

The next day I found myself doing something I would never have otherwise done. Excited, I posted a blog about it.

Exciting news and tall buildings...

I wasn't planning on emailing another list update until next week but I'm too excited and couldn't hold off. Today I did something that without my list I never in a million years would have gone and done. I phoned up and registered to throw myself off the top of a building. Luckily you'll be pleased to hear that I'll be attached to a rope at the time, cos throwing myself off a building without a rope would be stupid and would instantly put an end to completing the other 49 things on my list. On the Saturday 28th October I will be taking part in a 100ft charity abseil down the side of the YMCA tower block in Hanley. This is something I seriously would never have organised if it hadn't have been on my list. For a start I'm absolutely petrified of heights. I'm one of those people who gets dizzy and funny when I'm stood in a tall tower block looking out of the window. Its been suggested a few times by people that I add "Conquer a fear" on to the list. Now I don't need to because leaning back off a 100ft high building suspended only by a rope, and putting my life in the hands of some hungover andrenelin junkie is about as scary as things can get, and I'm about to do it. Now heres the downside - as I am risking life and limb to try and raise money for little kiddies with cancer, I'd be grateful if you could find it in your hearts to sponsor me. I have to raise a minimum of £80 to be able to do this but I reckon I can get way more than that. Email me back if u'd like to donate, I'm asking for anything you can spare.

You'll also be pleased to here that I have another 2 new items for the list

28. Get my name and photo in the paper. This may well take care of itself when I'm arrested by the RSPCA for eating a Guinea Pig
29. Learn how to dance. We haven't picked what dances I'm gonna learn yet but I'm getting private dance lessons so I can take the ballroom floor by storm.

So just 20 more things to come up with. So far everything seems pretty achievable.

More soon...
